Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower quarter wheel opening molding retainer to the quarter panel.
  2. Align the upper hole of the quarter wheel opening molding retainer to the upper stud.
  3. Align the lower slot in the quarter wheel opening molding retainer to the lower stud.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the nuts to the lower quarter wheel opening molding retainer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Align the quarter wheel opening molding to the quarter panel flare flush with the body.

  6. Starting at the rear, align the quarter wheel opening molding retainers to the holes in the quarter panel.
  7. Working forward, press the quarter wheel opening molding retainers into the quarter panel until fully seated.
  8. Install the screws to the front of the quarter wheel opening molding.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the push-in quarter wheel opening molding retainers to the lower front of the quarter wheel opening molding.
