Removal Procedure

- Remove the screws from the rear quarter molding.
- Use J 25070
152 mm (6 in) from the surface in order to heat the lower quarter molding. Use a circular motion for 30 seconds when applying heat.
NOTE: Refer to EXTERIOR TRIM EMBLEM REMOVAL NOTICE .
- Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the quarter molding from the surface.
- Pull the lower quarter molding out, in order to release the retainers.
- Pull the lower quarter molding out, in order to release from the lower locating pins.
- Pull the quarter molding up, in order to release from the upper support.
- Remove the quarter molding from the quarter panel.
- Pull out the center pins of the support retainers.
- Use J 25070
152 mm (6 in) from the surface in order to heat the lower quarter molding. Use a circular motion for 30 seconds when applying heat.

- Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the quarter molding from the surface.
- Remove the quarter molding support from the quarter panel.
- Use oil-free naphtha or alcohol in order to clean the body panel.
- Remove all traces of adhesive from the body panel.
