Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the drive belt idler pulley bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the idler pulley bracket bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the drive belt idler pulley.

  4. Install the drive belt idler pulley bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the supercharger drive belt. Refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT (L36)  or DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT (L67)  .
