Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Installation

Tools Required 

J 35354  Seal Installer. See Special Tools and Equipment .

  1. Coat the inside diameter of the crankshaft front oil seal with lubricant GM P/N 12345616, (Canadian P/N 993182) or the equivalent.
  2. Use J 35354  and a soft faced hammer to install the crankshaft front oil seal.
  3. Remove J 35354  .
