Compressor Control Switches Removal (V5 - Conventional Mount)

Tools Required
- J 5403 Snap Ring Pliers. See Special Tools and Equipment .
- J 9553-01 O-Ring Remover. See Special Tools and Equipment .
- J 39500-B ACR4-Black Shroud. See Special Tools and Equipment .
- Recover the refrigerant using the J 39500-B .
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch (3 or 4) in the rear head of the compressor.
- Remove the switch retaining ring using the J 5403 .
- Remove the switch (3 or 4) from the compressor.NOTE: If the existing switch will be reinstalled in the compressor, a new O-ring seal must be used and preferably a new retainer should also be used. A new switch kit has the O-ring and retainer ring included.
- Remove the old O-ring seal from switch cavity using the J 9553-01 .
