Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  2. Remove the cowl side trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - COWL SIDE .
  3. Remove the closeout/insulator panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT .
  4. Disconnect the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical connector.

  5. Route the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical harness through the opening in the side of the instrument panel and through the rubber conduit into the inner front door.
  6. Disconnect the outside rearview mirror electrical connectors.

  7. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts.
  8. Remove the outside rearview mirror from the front door.
