Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear quarter window to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the retaining nuts to the rear quarter window hinge studs.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the rear quarter window hinge studs nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the bearing bushing retaining screw.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bearing bushing screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the body side rear upper garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE REAR .
