Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER (OLDSMOBILE) or FASCIA REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER (PONTIAC) .
  2. Remove the rear accessory panel. Refer to ACCESSORY PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  3. Use a small, flat-bladed tool in order to push on the retainers from the inside of the quarter panel.
  4. Remove the pressure relief valve from the body.
