Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate. Refer to Lift Gate Replacement .
  2. Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT .
  3. Use a grease pencil to mark the liftgate hinge position to the body.
  4. Remove the hinge retaining nuts from the vehicle roof.
  5. Remove the hinge from the vehicle.
