Installation Procedure

  1. Align the hinge with the marks made on the vehicle body.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the hinge retaining nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the liftgate hinge stud nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT .
  4. Install the liftgate. Refer to Lift Gate Replacement .
