Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  2. Remove the back body pillar trim. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Corner Upper .
  3. Remove the body side upper trim panel. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper .
  4. Remove the cup holder from the rear quarter trim.

  5. Remove the rear accessory panel, for the left side quarter panel. Refer to Accessory Panel Replacement - Rear .
  6. Remove the seat belt retractor retainer bolt. Refer to SEAT BELT RETRACTOR REPLACEMENT - REAR .
  7. Remove the upper cargo net retainers.
  8. Remove the liftgate sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Lift Gate .
  9. Remove the rear quarter trim panel retainers using J 38778. 
  10. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.
