Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the screws from the sunshade mounting plate.
  2. Pull downwards in order to disengage the sunshade from the roof.
  3. Pull down the sunshade in order to access the electrical connectors, if equipped with a vanity mirror.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connections from the sunshade, if equipped with a vanity mirror.

    Important:  Do not rotate the sunshade on shaft. Doing so may cause the sunshade to become mis-aligned and not properly retained.

  5. Remove the sunshade from the roof.
