Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the headliner to the roof through the rear of the vehicle.
  2. Align the locking tab at the front overhead console.
  3. Push the headliner rearwards in order to lock the headliner into place.
  4. Install the rear headliner push-in retainers.
  5. Install the roof auxiliary air outlets, if equipped. Refer to AIR OUTLET DUCTS REPLACEMENT -- AUXILIARY .
  6. Install the liftgate weather-strips. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
  7. Install the cargo lamp. Refer to CARGO LAMP REPLACEMENT .

  8. Install the rear fan/temperature controls. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT -AUXILIARY .
  9. Install the reading lamps. Refer to ROOF SIDE RAIL LAMP REPLACEMENT .
  10. Install the rear corner upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Corner Upper .
  11. Install the body side rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Rear Upper .
  12. Install the upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper Pillar .
  13. Install the rear headliner trim finishing molding. Refer to Headlining Trim Finish Molding Replacement .
  14. Install the Dome Lamp. Refer to DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT (WITHOUT U42) or DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT (WITH U42) or DOME LAMP REPLACEMENT (OVERHEAD CONSOLE DVD) .
  15. Install the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead (Single)  or Console Replacement - Overhead (Dual)  or Console Replacement - Overhead (CF5) .
  16. Install the sunshades. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  17. Install the front door opening Weather-strips. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR OPENING .
  18. Install the windshield garnish moldings. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar .
