Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The body control module (BCM) flashes the headlamps and pulses the horns when a theft attempt is detected. The BCM grounds the headlamp and parklamp control circuits via a discrete input of the daytime running lamps (DRL) control module. The DRL control module actuates the headlamps and parklamp relays internal to the DRL control module.
