Removal & Installation (Except 8.1L)

Turn ignition OFF. Remove the engine cover. See ENGINE COVER . Disconnect the MAP sensor harness connector. See Figure and Fig 1 . Remove the MAP sensor by pulling straight up with a slight rocking motion. Remove and discard the MAP sensor grommet. Install the NEW MAP sensor grommet on the MAP sensor. Install the MAP sensor. Connect the MAP sensor harness connector. Install the engine cover.
