Removal & Installation (2.2L - VIN F)

  1. CKP sensor is located behind starter. See Fig 1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove starter. Disconnect harness connector from CKP sensor. Remove CKP sensor mounting bolt and remove CKP sensor.
  2. Inspect CKP sensor "O" ring for wear, cracks or other damage. Replace as necessary. Lubricate NEW "O" ring with engine oil before installing. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CKP sensor bolt/nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
