Removal (2.2L - VIN F)

  1. Fuel pressure regulator is mounted to fuel rail. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE (GASOLINE) . Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the fuel pressure regulator. Place a shop towel under the fuel pressure regulator in order to catch any fuel spillage.
  2. Remove the retaining bolts from the fuel pressure regulator. Remove the fuel pressure regulator. Remove any seal or seal material left on the fuel rail. Remove pressure regulator screw. Remove pressure regulator from fuel rail. Remove fuel inlet "O" ring from pressure regulator.
