Installation Procedure

  1. Position the striker and the shims to the lid with the arrow on the striker pointed downward.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts attaching the striker, beginning with the driver side bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Inspect the operation of the compartment lid.
  4. Close the compartment lid.
