Removal Procedure

  1. Open and support the folding top stowage lid.
  2. Remove the lid release switch (1) from the lid.

    Pry the switch loose with a flat bladed screwdriver.

  3. Disconnect the harness (2) from the switch.
  4. Remove the harness from the lid.
  5. Using a grease pencil mark the location of the hinges on the lid to aid in installation.
  6. Place a protective cover between the stowage lid and the rear compartment lid, and over the top of the quarter panels.

  7. With the aid of an assistant remove the hinge bolts from the stowage compartment lid.
  8. With the aid of an assistant remove the stowage compartment lid.
