Removal (3.8L)

Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve. See Figure. Remove the two EGR valve retaining nuts. Remove the EGR valve. Remove the gasket from the EGR valve adapter. Clean the EGR valve adapter from dirt and debris.
