1	Did you perform the Door Systems Diagnostic System Check?	Go to Step 2	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Door Systems
2	Verify that the heated mirrors inoperative fault is present. Do the heated mirrors operate normally?	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems	Go to Step 3
3	Turn ON the ignition, with the engine ON. Activate the rear defogger. Does the rear defogger operate correctly?	Go to Step 4	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Defogger
4	Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the inoperative mirror connector. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine ON. Probe the mirror heater battery positive voltage circuit with a test lamp that is connected to a good ground. Activate the rear defogger. Does the test lamp illuminate?	Go to Step 5	Go to Step 6
5	Connect a test lamp between the mirror heater battery positive voltage circuit and the mirror heater ground circuit. Activate the rear defogger. Does the test lamp illuminate?	Go to Step 8	Go to Step 7
6	Test the mirror heater battery positive voltage circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 12	Go to Step 9
7	Test the mirror heater ground circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 12	Go to Step 9
8	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the appropriate outside rearview mirror. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 12	Go to Step 10
9	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the driver door module (DDM). Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 12	Go to Step 11
10	Replace the appropriate outside rearview mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement . Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 12	-
