Throttle Body: Removal

- Drain the coolant. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector. See Figure. Remove the air intake duct. Disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
- Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector. Remove the accelerator control cable bracket. Disconnect the throttle body coolant by-pass hoses. Disconnect the heater pipe nut at the throttle body. Remove the nuts and bolts holding the throttle body to the intake manifold. Remove the throttle body assembly. Remove the old gasket.
