Idle Air Control Valve: Removal

Remove the EVAP canister purge valve. See EVAP CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID under EMISSION SYSTEMS & SUB-SYSTEMS. Remove the electrical connector from the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. See Figure. Remove the IAC valve attaching screws. Remove the IAC valve from the throttle body. Remove the IAC valve "O" ring.
