Throttle Position Sensor: Removal

  1. Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness connector. See Figure. Remove the air inlet duct from the MAF sensor and the throttle body. Disconnect the EVAP purge line.
  2. Disconnect the fuel lines. See FUEL LINE DISCONNECT FITTINGS  under FUEL SYSTEMS. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector. See Figure. Remove the 2 TP sensor screws. Remove the TP sensor and "O" ring.
