Secondary Air Injection Pump: Installation

  1. Secure the AIR pump and the bracket to the frame mount with the nuts. Tighten the AIR pump bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the AIR pump electrical connector. Lightly lubricate the inner edge of the AIR exhaust hose.
  2. Attach the AIR exhaust hose to the AIR pump outlet port. Place the pinch clamp around the outlet port and/or exhaust hose connection. Install the left front fender liner. Install the left wheel assembly. Tighten wheel lug nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Lower the vehicle.
