Removal & Installation

  1. The EVAP canister vent valve is mounted on top of fuel tank. See Figure or Fig 1 .
  2. Remove the fuel tank. See FUEL TANK  under FUEL SYSTEMS. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent valve harness connector. Disconnect the hose from the EVAP canister vent valve.
  3. Release the lock tab on the EVAP canister vent bracket and remove the EVAP canister vent valve. To install, reverse removal procedure.
