Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount bracket to the engine mount.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
    2. Fig 1: Engine Mount Upper Nuts

  2. Install the engine mount upper nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

  3. Use a utility stand in order to lower the engine.

  4. Install the engine mount bracket to the oil pan.
  5. Install the engine mount bracket-to-oil pan bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).

  6. Install the right engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE .
  7. Install the right front wheel and tire. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the catalytic converter pipe to the engine right side exhaust manifold. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACEMENT .
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Install the engine mount struts. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - Left  or ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - Right .
  11. Install the throttle body air inlet duct.
