Removal Procedure

  1. Open the support the hood.
  2. Remove the hood rear weatherstrip from the pinchweld flange.
  3. Remove the hood rear outer seals from the fenders.

  4. Clean the old adhesive with 3MΩ P/N 8984 adhesive remover or equivalent in the area of the hood outer seals in order to ensure proper adhesion of adhesive.
