Removal Procedure

NOTE:
When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage
NOTE:
When the hood is removed from the vehicle, do not stand the hood on the rear corners. Damage to the paint and sheet metal may occur
- Install the protective coverings over the fenders in order to prevent damage to the paint when removing or installing the hood.
- Open the support the hood.
- make the location of the hood hinge to the hood (1,2) for alignment when re-installing the hood.
- Remove the hood bolts from each side of the hood at the hinge.
- Remove the hood from the hood hinges with an assistant.
