Installation Procedure

  1. Using the lead wire, pull the new hood latch cable through the cowl and into the engine compartment.
  2. Seat the grommet fully into the cowl.

  3. Remove the hood release handle. Refer to HOOD RELEASE LEVER REPLACEMENT .
  4. Install the hood latch cable to the hood latch.

  5. Install the hood latch cable retaining clips.

  6. Close the hood.
