Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Align the front fender liner to the inside of the fender.
  2. Position the front fender liner forward of the tabs on the engine splash shield.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Starting at the rear bottom and working forward, install the bolts through the holes in the front fender liner.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the bolts through he holes in the front fender liner to the front bumper fascia.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the fender splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Wheelhouse  (for Oldsmobile only).
  6. Install the fender wheel opening molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT - FRONT WHEEL OPENING (for Pontiac only).
  7. Install the engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine .

  8. Install the front tires and wheels. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  9. Lower the vehicle.
