Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP insulator. Refer to one of the following procedures:
  2. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  3. Remove the IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory .
  4. Position the tilt steering wheel to the lowest position.
  5. Pull on the IP cluster trim plate in order to release the clips that secure the IP cluster trim plate to the instrument panel.

    Begin near the headlamp switch and work toward the center of the vehicle IP cluster trim plate.

  6. Remove the IP cluster trim plate from the instrument panel.
