Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Montana, 2002 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2002 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the IP carrier to the body.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts/screws which secure the IP carrier to the body.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts/screws to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the defroster duct. Refer to AIR OUTLET DUCT REPLACEMENT -- DEFROSTER .
  4. Install the center air outlet. Refer to AIR OUTLET REPLACEMENT -- CENTER .
  5. Install the IP air outlet ducts. Refer to IP AIR OUTLET DUCTS REPLACEMENT .
  6. Install the A/C control module. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT .
  7. Install the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT .
  8. Install the EBTCM module. Refer to ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE (EBCM) REPLACEMENT .
  9. Install the DRL module. Refer to DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (DRL) CONTROL MODULE R .
  10. Install the body control module. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT .
  11. Install the wiring harness. Refer to IP Harness Replacement .
  12. Install the instrument panel. Refer to IP Assembly Replacement .
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PRO .
