Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle

Install the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly and secure by using 2 pan head tapping screws.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
If necessary, connect the connector (s) of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly.
CAUTION: Refer to SIR INFLATOR MODULE COIL CAUTION .

Install the wire harness assembly (4) into the wire harness strap (5).
Install the wire harness strap (2) onto the upper tilt head assembly (1).
Install the 3 wire harness straps (3) onto the wire harness assembly (4).
Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
