Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3) onto the electronic lock module assembly (2) and secure by using the 2 tapping screws.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 4.7 N.m (42 lb in).
Install the key alarm connector (1) into the electronic lock module assembly (2).

Slide the PASSKEY® III (2) onto the electronic lock module assembly (1).

Slide the turn signal switch assembly connectors (2) to the bulkhead connector (1).

CAUTION: Refer to SIR INFLATOR MODULE COIL CAUTION .

Install the wire harness assembly (4) into the wire harness strap (5).
Install the wire harness strap (2) into the steering column tilt head assembly (1).
Install the wire harness straps (3) onto the wire harness assembly (4).
Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
