Removal (3.5L)

Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) may also be referred to as HO2S 1. Turn ignition off. HO2S 1 is located in the rear exhaust manifold. See Figure. Disconnect HO2S 1 harness connector. Using HO2S Wrench (J-39194-B), carefully remove HO2S 1 from exhaust manifold.
