Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the oil pump (200) to valve body (300).

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the oil pump bolts (205-207).

    Tighten 

    • Tighten the M6 X 1.0 X 20 bolt to 8 N.m (70 lb in).
    • Tighten the M6 X 1.0 X 85 bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
    • Tighten the M6 X 1.0 X 95 bolt to 16 N.m (11 lb ft).
  3. Install the case side cover. Refer to CASE SIDE COVER REPLACEMENT
