Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING in General Information.
  2. Remove the torque converter cover. Refer to TORQUE CONVERTER COVER REPLACEMENT   .

  3. Use the J 37623  in order to rotate the flywheel and access the torque converter bolts.
  4. Use the J 37623  to hold the flywheel.

  5. Remove the flywheel to torque converter bolts.
