Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transaxle mount bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transaxle mount bracket bolts.

    Tighten 

    Start with the forward lower bolt and work clockwise to tighten the transaxle mount bracket bolts to 95 N.m (70 lb ft).

  3. Remove the utility stand.

  4. Install the transaxle mount upper nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

  5. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE  in Body Front End.
  6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
