Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the bolt (2) securing the mini-buckle to the 60 percent seat cushion frame.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the buckle side belts (1) to the seat.

    Tighten

    Tighten the mini-buckle bolt to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

  3. Install the bolts securing the buckle side belts to the seat cushion frame.

    Tighten

    Tighten the rear seat buckle belt bolts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).

  4. Install the seat cushion cover retainers to the seat frame.
  5. Install the rear seat riser. Refer to SEAT SYSTEM  in Seats.
  6. Install the recliner trim cover. Refer to SEAT SYSTEM  in Seats.
  7. Install the rear seat. Refer to SEAT SYSTEM  in Seats.
