Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the fuel filler interlock cable to the fuel filler interlock bracket.
  2. Insert the fuel filler interlock into the proper hole in the body.
  3. Slide the fuel filler interlock bracket toward the rear of the vehicle.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the bolts to the fuel filler interlock bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fuel filler door interlock bracket retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Close the sliding door.
