Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Attach the fuel filler door interlock cable end to the mechanics wire.
  2. Use the mechanic wire to pull the fuel filler door interlock cable through the rear quarter panel openings.
  3. Remove the mechanics wire from the fuel filler door interlock cable.
  4. Press in on the fuel filler door interlock cable to seat into the rear inner quarter panel.
  5. Connect the fuel filler door interlock cable to the fuel filler door.

  6. Release the tension on the fuel door interlock and install fuel filler door interlock cable to the fuel filler interlock.
  7. Close the left sliding door.
  8. Install the left rear inner fender liner. Refer to FUEL FILLER TUBE  .
