Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR  in Seats.
  2. Remove the back body side upper trim panel. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - REAR CORNER UPPER   . 
  3. Remove the body side upper trim panel. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE REAR UPPER   . 
  4. Remove the cup holder from the rear quarter trim.
  5. Remove the rear accessory panel, for the left side quarter panel. Refer to ACCESSORY PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR   . 
  6. Remove the seat belt retractor retainer bolt. Refer to SEAT BELT SYSTEM  or SEAT BELT SYSTEM  in Seat Belts.
  7. Remove the upper cargo net retainers.
  8. Remove the liftgate sill plate. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM
  9. Remove the rear quarter trim panel retainers using J 38778. 
  10. Remove the rear quarter trim panel from the vehicle.
