Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Montana, 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette, and 2003 Chevrolet Venture. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the rear seat cushion cover (1) to the foam pad.
  2. Secure the rear seat cushion cover to the foam pad using retainer rings (2) and the hook and loop retainers.

  3. Install the J retainers (1) to secure the seat cushion cover to the seat frame.

  4. Install the rear seat cushion to the rear seat back.
    NOTE: Refer to FLEX DECOUPLER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the recliner bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

  6. Install the rear seat adjuster. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER REPLACEMENT - REAR   . 
  7. Install the seat riser. Refer to SEAT RISER REPLACEMENT - REAR   . 
  8. Install the finish covers. Refer to SEAT TRIM REPLACEMENT - SIDE   . 
  9. Install the second row bucket seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR   .
