Installation Procedure

- Install the heater element to the seat cushion.
- Install the seat cushion cover (1).
- Install the seat cover retainer rings (hog rings) (2).
- Install the J retainer (1) at the bottom of the seat cushion.
- Install the seat cushion to the seat back.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the front seat recliner bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb ft).
- Snap the recliner covers over there recliner mechanism.
- Install the seat adjuster mechanism to the seat frame. Refer to the appropriate sections:
- Front seat adjuster, 2-way Manual, 4-way Manual, if equipped. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER MECHANISM REPLACEMENT - MANUAL (TWO-WAY MANUAL) or SEAT ADJUSTER MECHANISM REPLACEMENT - MANUAL (FOUR-WAY MANUAL) .
- Front Seat Adjuster, 6-way Power, if equipped. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER MECHANISM REPLACEMENT - POWER .
- Install the front seat buckle with Pretensioner. Refer to SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER in SIR.
- Install the finish covers. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
- Install the cup holder, if equipped. Refer to CUPHOLDER REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT .
- Install the map pocket net, if equipped. Refer to MAP POCKET NET REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT .
- Install the front seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET .
