Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the second row captains chair. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR   . 
  2. Remove the head restraint. Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT   . 
  3. Remove the finish covers. Refer to SEAT TRIM REPLACEMENT - SIDE   . 
  4. Remove the recliner handle. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER HANDLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT   . 
  5. Remove the rear seat back finish panel. Refer to SEAT BACK FILLER PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR   . 
  6. Separate the J retainer (1) from the bottom edge of the rear seat back cover.
  7. Remove the rear seat back recliner cover. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER COVER REPLACEMENT - REAR   . 
  8. Separate the rear seat back cover and foam away from the recliner to expose the recliner bolts.
  9. Remove the recliner bolts.
  10. Separate the rear seat back from the rear seat cushion.
  11. Remove the armrest. Refer to ARMREST REPLACEMENT - REAR SEAT   .

  12. Remove the rear seat back cover retainer rings (2).
  13. Separate the rear seat back cover away from the foam pad while separating the hook and loop retainers.

  14. Remove the rear seat back cover from the foam pad.
  15. Remove the rear seat back pad from the seat back frame.
