Removal Procedure

Use a heat gun in order to heat the front door auxiliary weatherstrip.
1. Hold the heat gun approximately 152 mm (6 in) from the surface.
2. Apply the heat using a circular motion for approximately 30 seconds.
Use a plastic flat-bladed tool in order to peel the front door auxiliary weatherstrip from the panel surface.
DO NOT damage the paint during removal of the auxiliary weatherstrip.
Use oil-free naphtha in order to clean the body panel.
