Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the hood insulator. Refer to HOOD INSULATOR REPLACEMENT   . 
  3. Remove the hood scoop screws.
  4. Remove the hood scoop from the hood by lifting up at the rear of the hood scoop and sliding forward release the hood scoop from the hood scoop mounting bracket.
  5. If you are replacing the hood scoop mounting bracket.
    • Drill out the hood scoop mounting bracket rivets.
    • Remove the hood scoop mounting bracket from the hood.
