Removal Procedure

  1. Open and Support the hood.
  2. Reposition the electrical center from the right front end sheet metal diagonal brace. Refer to UNDERHOOD ELECTRICAL CENTER OR JUNCTION BLOCK REPLACEMENT  in Wiring Systems.
  3. Remove the windshield wiper system module cover. Refer toWIPER MODULE COVER REPLACEMENT  in Wipers/Washer Systems.
  4. Remove the bolts from the rear hole in front and sheet metal diagonal brace at the wheelhouse.
  5. Remove the bolts from the front of the front end sheet metal diagonal brace at the upper tie bar.
  6. Remove the front end sheet metal diagonal brace from the engine compartment.
