Diagnose any BCM passlock or communications DTCs first. Perform Passlock(R) password learn procedure using required equipment. See PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTS  under PROGRAMMING.

BCM, passlock sensor and ECM contain the same passlock codes. If any of these components are replaced, a relearn procedure must be performed.
